Yes. School groups and large parties are welcome. Please call us (620-666-0069) to discuss group pricing and scheduling.

Access to the trails is included with admission through the Visitor Center. All trails are clearly marked for easy navigation.

Yes. Restrooms are located just north of the parking lot, and a drinking fountain is available.

Tours

Kansas weather can be unpredictable. If poor weather is expected, your tour will be postponed and rescheduled for another day. Some tours may be cancelled rather than postponed, money will be refunded.

Yes. A personal vehicle is required. Tours last 2–2.5 hours and include various stops around Arkansas City.

Closed-toe shoes are recommended. Dress for the season, wear a hat if possible, and consider long sleeves and pants, especially during warmer months when insects are common. Bring sunscreen and plenty of water, especially in June – August when temperatures can be high.

Yes. Children are welcome, but parental supervision IS required. Some areas may be difficult for strollers.

In most areas, strollers are fine. Please be aware that some terrain may be uneven.
